The River Seine, the Thames; each city is home to a beautiful river. Taipei’s blue highway is also enchanting.
Since opening in 2004, more and more people are enjoying boat rides after river renovation and riverside improvements by the government. Boat rides have become a new choice for weekend leisure activities. At the moment, there are 7 fixed routes on the Tamsui and Keelung Rivers, enabling tourists to board boats at wharfs at Dadaocheng, Dajia, Guandu, Meiti, and Xikou.
法國的塞納河，英國的泰晤士河，每個城市都有一條美麗的河，臺北市的藍色公路一樣迷人。
臺北市的藍色公路於93年開航以來，隨著政府對河川整治及水岸景觀投入改善，越來越多人前往搭乘體驗，是假日觀光遊憩的新選擇。目前淡水河及基隆河的固定航線已有7條，旅客可由大稻埕、大佳、關渡、美堤及錫口等5處碼頭乘船。

Getting closer to the estuary brings views of crowds on Tamsui Old Street, with the golden sunset reflecting on the surface of the Tamsui River. The famous Tamsui Sunset can be seen at Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf. The wooden paths are composed of crude wood and provide vast views, the best place to see the charm of the Tamsui River. The famous Danjiang Bridge is a streamline bent, single-sided, cable-stayed bridge, spanning the port and creating a beautiful curve.
越往出海口，淡水老街人來人往的熱鬧盡收眼底，金黃夕陽照映著淡水河，名聞遐邇的『淡江夕照』在漁人碼頭可以一覽無餘，綿長的木棧道視野遼闊，全部採用原木施工，這裡是欣賞淡水兩岸碼頭風情的最佳景點；著名的人行跨海大橋是一座流線彎曲造型的單面斜張橋，橫跨港區，畫出了美麗的弧線。

The previously lonely highway is now presented with energy. Either a natural and ecological trip or a tour exploring historical sites, it enables access to the historical, and cultural characteristics of the river.
