Ritz Park was called Hsinchu Park, and it is a beautiful rest place in Hsinchu City. Around Ritz Park, there are Glass Museum, Handmade Craft Hall and Hsinchu City Zoo. It is really the best place for the Hsinchu residents to have recreational sports here.
麗池舊稱新竹公園，為新竹巿區一處美麗的休憩空間，與週邊的玻璃工藝館、手作幸福町、動物園為鄰，是新竹市民休閒運動的最佳選擇。

Taking a visit to Li Pond, the Japanese-style Nine-Curve Bridge comes into view. The blue-water lake and wood-colored bridge with lush, green vegetation around it create a magnificent scene. Walking along the antique wooden plank road, visitors can see four Japanese-style buildings which are called “Lakeside Ryotei” at the other end of Nine-Curve Bridge. These buildings are planned as “Handmade Craft Halls” for selling creative handmade glass crafts.
一訪麗池動人風光，日式風味十足的九曲橋映入眼簾，湖面的碧波盪漾，木色九曲橋襯上四周草木蒼翠茂盛，形成一幅絕美景緻。延著古色古香的木棧道散步，九曲橋的另一端上有四座日式建築，人稱湖畔料亭，規劃為展售充滿個人特色的玻璃創意手作─「手作幸福町」。 |

Each building structure is exquisite and unique, so roaming leisurely here is like being in the Japanese village. Beside the Handmade Craft Halls is Glass Studio. There are a group of masters creating arts there. They melt the glass powder with high temperature first, and then combine different colors in the glass when shaping it.
各棟建築構造精細、獨特，空間配置尺度適宜，建築之間由步徑聯繫，空間感十足，整體節奏豐富多變，在此悠閒漫遊猶如置身日本村莊。一旁的玻璃工坊，一群師傅將玻璃粉末高溫融化後慢慢「捏、塑、雕、剪」，並且結合不同色彩來重疊塑型，其過程十分有趣。 |

Glass Museum, completed in 1936, was originally used as the lodging and feasting for Japanese royal family and government officials when they came to Taiwan to make the rounds.The external garden landscape and interior design both have an atmosphere of leisure residency. It can be divided into the pitched-roof brick building pasted with face bricks in European-style, as well as the flat-roof concrete building with shattered-stone wall face in modern-style.
玻璃工藝博物館於1936年落成，原為日本皇族及高官來台巡視時做為行館及宴客之用。玻工館外部庭園景觀與內部格局皆具休閒氣氛，可分為早期仿歐式斜屋頂並貼以面磚加強磚造建築，以及現代平屋頂洗石子牆面之銅筋混擬土建築。 |

From the top down, it seems an earth-colored building stands there; however, walking near the Glass Museum, visitors will be astonished by the sense of multi-level of lining brick wall. Because there are concave and convex lines on every brick, viewing from different angles, the whole wall not only shows a variety of color changes but also has a unique charm.
由上往下，入目的是看似粗糙的大地色建築，走近玻璃工藝博物館會驚訝於壁磚的層次感，因壁磚上的凹凸線條呈現的退縮層次，使之擁有更豐富的色彩變化，不同的角度觀看皆有其獨到的韻味；細看每塊磚，色澤或濃或淡，兩者濃調淡抹出不可忽視的細節；窗框與門件多為帶灰的常春藤綠，另一邊的魚鱗花窗點綴樸實的館舍，對應戶外的郁郁青青，顯得獨樹一格。 |
