From an ideal life to a Utopia for youth

From past, present to future, what is your ideal living space? No matter it is the convenient city life or the tranquil rural life, everyone has the right and freedom to have a living space. A house is not only a shelter for people but also a space giving people a sense of privateness and security; most importantly, it is a space where people can share happy times with their family.
過去、現在、未來，你理想中的居住空間是什麼樣子呢？都市的便捷或是鄉村的恬靜，每個人都有住的權利與自由，住宅不僅是一幢遮風擋雨的庇護房子，也是提供個人隱私、安全感的專屬空間，甚至是滿足與家人共享幸福時光的重要條件。 |

Living in a suitable and ideal space is what people have pursued, and what kind of residential environment will meet people’s expectations? POSAMO team has a great respect for natural environment and thinks we should keep natural elements, environmental behavior and local humanistic spirit when creating an ideal residence. Therefore, on December 23th 2015, POSAMO and Department of Architecture of Feng Chia University invited architect, Le-Jing Jiang, to give a lecture on “From an ideal life to a Utopia for youth” for students.
居住空間與環境習習相關，生活在一個理想居住的場域，是人類千百年來致力的目標，什麼樣的環境才符合居住條件的美好生活指數呢？ POSAMO 十邑設計注重與自然生態的互敬互重，認為在任一基地中都應保有自然元素，並以環境特性、當地人文精神進行設計，相輔相成，打造空間圍塑自然的理想居所。於是， POSAMO 攜手逢甲大學建築系於2015年11月23日 邀請姜樂靜建築師為學子們解說理想中的宜居之城─從理想國到青年理想國。
With her working and living experience, Ms. Jiang passed an opinion on “house.” She said that life should not be confined to a frame; rather, people should place importance on the relationships among people and the relationships between human beings and environment. Then, she mentioned the residential design of Romeo and Juliet by German architect Hans Scharoun was with more liberal floor plan, and she took the works with the style of organic architecture by architect Chen-Kuen Lee for example to probe into what an ideal living space is. Further, she took her participation of Fengyuan District Social Housing competition for example to tell students how to retain local trees, design a park and pathways with golden trumpet trees and create an area full of greenery. In the end of speech, she encouraged students to respect the relationships among people and environment and try to make their design dream come true.
姜建築師從自身的居住經驗與工作累積，先以對「家」的看法指出生活不僅是侷限於框架之中，應重視人與人、人與周邊環境之間的密切關係；接著，談到德國建築師漢斯•夏隆Hans Scharoun的羅密歐與茱麗葉住宅設計中，較為自由的平面規劃，及舉例同為有機建築風格 ─李承寬建築師的諸多作品，來探討理想居住的空間；後以自身參與豐原區社會住宅競圖的過程，分享如何保留當地老樹，規劃公園，打造周邊黃花風鈴木步道，營造綠意盎然的場域等想法，鼓勵參與的同學們在往後社會住宅設計中，重視人與彼此、環境的停留、對話，勇於實踐自己的設計夢想。
