Re-presenting the Inclusiveness of Eastern Charm

China has long been known as a land of rituals and etiquette, which is also the norm for treating people and handling issues. The artists of ARTEPOZA have arranged three different wooden and ink-colored geometric shapes into a 3 x 3 grid. The concept of roundness within squares expresses Confucian philosophy. Squares represent order, principles and propriety, while circles represent harmony, openness and inclusiveness. The design team at POSAMO accentuates the reading room of the Taipei Comfortable Resort with the concept of “between squares and circles”, creating a piece of literary wall art that complements a reading space filled with eastern cultural ambience.
中國素來以禮儀之邦聞名，更以此為待人接物的標準，ARTEPOZA的藝術家將三種幾何型的墨色木器，排列成等距的九宮格，方中有圓的邏輯，傳達了儒學思想。方，代表井然有序、原則分寸；圓，代表圓融開放、相容並蓄。POSAMO十邑設計選用「方圓之間」襯托台北鄉林淳青的閱圖室，一個結合文學創作的壁飾藝品，與端正的書香空間，共同圍塑東方人文的氛圍

During travels throughout the Jiangnan region of China, we discovered the grandeur of ancient Chinese palace architecture. A walk along the homocentric square city walls exposes the traveler to walls painted with luxurious red pigment, presenting ancient and mottled traces of history. Combined with yellow colored glass, the glamorous carvings and murals are introduced as the iconic color of Chinese architecture.
走訪江南各地，探尋中國古代皇宮的建築氣宇，延著「回」字型城牆邁步，華貴的朱砂紅壁面多了歷史刻畫的斑駁痕跡，琉璃黃的瓦頂為之襯托，與金碧輝煌的雕刻壁飾形成中國建築特色與濃烈的識別色彩。
The artists of ARTEPOZA have transformed characteristics of Beijing’s Forbidden City into creative elements. Specially selected paints are used to create the texture of a cement wall, which is later covered with red oil paint. The layered golden artwork is carved to create lines of a shell-like surface. Red and gold colors complement each other, while the bold brushstrokes express the domineering quality of the eastern king. The design team of POSAMO presents an artwork filled with eastern cultural grandeur at the Taipei Comfortable Resort.
ARTEPOZA的藝術家將中國故宮的特色轉為創作元素，於無框的畫布上以特有塗料塑造泥牆表面的肌理，再以朱紅油彩乾刷上色。上下疊置的鑲金藝品，以雕刻的方式留下貝殼表面的線性紋路，紅與金的相輔相成，搭配一揮而就的墨色筆觸，呈現東方君王的霸氣。POSAMO十邑設計於台北鄉林淳青，呈上一幅東方文化氣勢的畫作。

A poet sipping wine in solitude in the night. The moon is reflected on the surface of the water, with its soft blue colors mixed with the light yellow colors of the moon and red of the glow of the evening sunset. The wind stirs the surface of the water and creates glittering ripples.
詩人於月下獨酌，一輪明月倒映於水上，揉藍的湖色中，摻著鵝黃月色與嫣紅晚霞，興起的風將如鏡的水池掀起鄰鄰波光。
The artists of ARTEPOZA apply the emotions of a poet raising a glass to the moon in these exquisite creations and artworks. Colors such as indigo, light yellow, purple and red are dry-brushed and layered onto the wood, which are then arranged into a horizontal painting. The design team of POSAMO has placed “Rubbed Blue” in the vintage brown corridor of Taipei Comfortable Resort.
ARTEPOZA的藝術家將詩人舉杯向月的情緒，與水波上的景緻體現於創作中，把青靛、鵝黃、炫紫、嫣紅等顏料，以乾刷的方式層層堆疊於木片上，再將一片片手染木作錯置拼接成橫幅畫作。POSAMO十邑設計選用「揉藍」壁飾藝品，懸掛於台北鄉林淳青古褐的長廊。
