Sky and Land Open Up with a Drop of Ink

The entrance to the lobby of A-class International Resort is a space with sofas for travelers to rest. In order to echo the atmosphere of the space, the design team of POSAMO have ornamented a space composed of vertical and horizontal lines with an L-shaped painting created by ARTEPOZA, extending the proportions of the space. Abandoning meticulous and figurative painting, the concept of the leisurely “abbreviated brush” in Chinese splash-ink paintings was selected. Lift up your gaze and admire the L-shaped painting that symbolizes the sky and land, expressing the boldness and momentum of the extending land and sky.
台北冠德鼎捷LOBBY的入口，是一處旅人歇腳的沙發區，為呼應空間的氣度與氛圍，POSAMO十邑設計在垂直與水平線共構的場域，佐以ARTEPOZA創作的 L 型畫作來延伸空間比例。捨棄精細具象的畫面，選擇中國潑墨畫 「減筆」的寫意表現。抬頭看，一幅象徵天空和大地的 L 型畫作，天與地一氣呵成，率性豪邁。

ARTEPOZA has added a coat of texture to the canvas during creation. Midnight blue and dark brown were used as base colors, while neutral grey-toned steel blue and copper gold acrylic pigments were layered through dry brushing and blending, at the same time controlling the consistency of the paint to allow the texture and color of the base to show from within, adding richness to the image. Last but not least, a brush stroke of ink crosses throughout the image, boldly drifting before the eyes. Is it a rock, a cloud, or water? The designers of POSAMO stated that “Art is subjective. Rather than giving art an existing definition, one should leave space for the viewer’s imagination to run free.”
為增加作品的質感，ARTEPOZA 於創作過程中替畫布製作了一層肌理，再以午夜藍和深褐色打底，接著將帶有中灰調性的鋼青色，以及銅金色壓克力顏料，以乾刷和暈染的方式層層堆疊，同時控制顏料的濃度，讓肌理的紋路及深色顏料從中透出，豐富畫面層次。最後，一撇墨韻縱橫於天地間，瀟灑的飛濺於眼前，其形為石、為雲或為水 ? POSAMO設計師說 : 美是主觀的，與其給藝術品一個既有的定義，不如將想像空間留給觀賞者自由發揮。
