The silent solitude of the great way

A conversation between King Wang and Polin Yang, one embodying the essence of solitude, the other, the essence of silence. The two masters face each other in front of Yang’s work “The Silent King.” Yang states: “My sculptures are actually a form of poetry. A shift of curve and direction presents an entirely different view. I invite you to converse directly with my work and space. I would rather be like the Silent King. Real solitude is when the work ceases to converse with people.”
藝術寰宇的負負得正
POSAMO十邑設計首席設計師王勝正與楊柏林的對談，一個本質孤獨、一個本質沉默的兩位大師，在楊大師雕塑作品「沉默的國王」前對望，展開訪談的序曲。楊大師說：『我的雕塑其實都是詩的語言。轉一個弧度，轉一個面向，就能看到不同景象，我邀請您們來與我的作品、我的空間直接對話，我寧願如「沉默的國王」一般。當作品沒有與人產生互動與對話，那才是真正的孤獨』

Wang responds: “Although at this very moment, you are standing before us, engaged in conversation, it is as if a deep part of you is silent and in contemplation, which also enables us to savor the sound of the echo!
” He continued : “My solitude is the complete assimilation of a changing environment. This energy of solitude extends and overflows within my creative space, stretching like splash-ink paintings.” Either through artistic creation or spatial design, you always find artists use a Morse code to communicate with the outside world. Sometimes, their silence is also a muted way of sharing.

after an encounter with solitude.” The phenomenon of “two negatives making a positive” in art is an extraordinary view within the world, a strange tale of the universe.
王大師回應說：『雖然此時您立於眼前與我們談話，但彷彿心的深處卻是在沉默著、思考著，也讓我們在當下回味著餘音！』。再說：『而我的孤獨，是在浮動變動的環境中，完全與之融入的孤獨，這孤獨的能量極致地延伸在我的創作空間中，傾囊而出，如潑墨般不斷擴張。』不論是透過藝術創作或是空間設計，只要你願意去感受，就能找到藝術家與外界連結的摩斯密碼，而他們的不語更是一種無聲的分享。「孤獨本孤，遇默滅孤；沉默本默，逢孤生語。」藝術星光裡的負負得正，真是人間奇景，宇宙怪壇。

There is an intimate connection between life and art. “Dancing on One's Own Land” is composed of stainless steel, expressing Yang’s passion and concern for nature and culture. From this semi-autobiographical collected work Time to Go Now, the viewer can see the artist’s important sculptures, also his growth through hardships, struggles in family love and romantic love, a complete representation of his journey in pursuit of artistic ideals.
楊柏林：「是時候了！」
生活與藝術是有親密性的，『在自己的土地上跳舞』楊大師利用不銹鋼材質，展現他對大自然及人文的熱情與關懷，從最新的半自傳性文集『是時候了！』可以觀看到大師重要的雕塑作品，以及從艱困中成長、面臨親情愛情的掙扎，完整呈現其追求藝術理想的心路歷程。

The afternoon slipped away as the two artists engaged in conversation. I saw a celestial horse, sitting in solitude immersed in thought, transcending the mortal world and engaging in solitude, with creativity as cure. While another horse appeared through a splash of ink on the shore with a rising tide, engaging in solitude with creativity as its key. The two artists climbed onto these two horses and entered the forest while all conversation ceased, leaving behind an endless echo. The followers are all covered by a deep and beautiful atmosphere, influencing the entire space, each discovering a piece of tranquility outside the hustle of the world. Solitude is truly an extreme form of wabi sabi!
創作為藥為鑰
在兩位大師隨心性漫談中度過了午后的光陰，我看見一匹在森林裡獨坐沉思的神駒，超脫了世間，投入以創作為藥的孤獨；另一匹在潮起水岸豪勁潑墨的名駒，融入了世間，投入以創作為鑰的孤獨。此刻兩位大師策馬入林，不再言語，卻交會出無邊際的迴聲！讓跟隨者們尾隨其後都有很深且美麗的墜入，美的份際就無聲無息的感染了空間，各自找到喧嘩之外的凝靜！孤寂真的是一種極致的侘寂之美！
