The first time I heard the name Inca Pan, my impression was a talented girl. My second thought was the Chinese herbal throat medicine which sounded incredibly familiar to the name. After browsing the internet, I found that Inca Pan is a talented boy with a very artistic Chinese name Pan Yun Chia. Inca Pan thought back and said: “I was flipping through a herb book during university and saw the Chinese noun “川貝母.” I was simply drawn to the visual appearances of the three Chinese characters.”
初次在媒體聞見川貝母三個字，第一直覺是位奇女子，第二聯想到的是川貝枇杷膏，搜尋了網路訊息後，得知川貝母是位才華洋溢的男生，有著非常文青氣息的名字「潘昀珈」，老師回憶著說：『大學時不經意的翻一本藥草書，收錄「川貝母」，純粹是就視覺上，獨鍾三個字的組合形狀。』 |

When I had the pleasure of meeting the artist in the flesh, his illuminating appearance made him stand out in the crowd, even though he appeared quietly in a corner. Every gesture of Inca Pan carries a hint of youthfulness, making him seem like the boy next door. However, Inca Pan is, in fact, a shining star in the international art world. His humbleness in today’s world where people tend to brag about the most trivial accomplishments makes his figure like a breath of fresh air.
有幸見到本尊專訪時，他的出現安靜在角落，卻在人群中特別發光，舉手投足的雀躍童心，又帶著青澀的情懷，宛如一個鄰家大男孩，但他卻是國際舞台耀眼的藝術界新銳，令人感受到他的有禮謙讓，在當今小有成就即驕縱的世代中，更顯的是一股新生清流。

Talented young artist Inca Pan was selected to participate in the “Bologna Illustrators Exhibition” in 2005. Pan specializes in creating illustrations through metaphors and is the first Taiwanese illustrator to have works published
in the New York Times and Washington Post. After receiving recognition throughout the world of luxury brands with exhibitions such as the watches and clock theme illustration “Fingertips on Flying Time,” “The Journey to the West Fantasy Collection,” a collaboration with Shiatzy Chen transforms the mythical figures of Four Great Classical Novels into contemporary appearances. The work was presented on the stage of Paris Fashion Week and earned an international spotlight.
青年插畫家川貝母多才多藝，2005年曾入選波隆納插畫展，擅長以隱喻的方式創作圖像，是第一位受邀將作品登在《紐約時報》和《華盛頓郵報》的台灣插畫創作者。數度獲得精品界青睞，如鐘錶主題插畫展【當時間遇見手】、 時尚品牌『夏姿．陳』【西遊奇遇系列】聯名合作，以奇幻風格讓中國四大奇書的神話小說人物融入當代，一躍登上巴黎時裝周舞台，成為國際注目的焦點。 |

Iris Apfel, the oldest fashion icon in history, wore a yellow embroidery coat by Inca Pan on the 95th-anniversary edition of L'Officiel. Inca Pan re-interprets figures including Tang Seng, Sun Wukong, Sha Wujing, Princess Iron Fan, and the Spider Demons and presents the lively figures of Journey to the West onto the clothing. Elements such as Flower Fruit Mountain, birds, and butterflies are also seen in the clothing. “Journey to the West Art Exhibition” was highly received by viewers.
史上最高齡時尚偶像Iris Apfel 身著川貝母黃色刺繡大衣亮相法國《L'Officiel 時裝》95週年紀念刊，川貝母重新詮釋唐三藏、孫悟空、沙悟淨、鐵扇公主、蜘蛛精等角色，以插畫傳神的將西遊記人物展現於刺繡衣裳中，更有花果山、飛鳥、蝴蝶等元素襯托，【嬉遊拾藝特展】令人激賞。 |
