“To know what one want’s in life is of utmost importance.” Not all outstanding figures of the world graduated from famous schools. The artist was clear and persistence about his path in life. He mentioned learning to arrange the window in their family eye-wear store from his father, an experience that inspired his love for design and later led him to study design early on. At a young age, Chen Yen Ting already had experience designing for various famous enterprises, including large projects for the Breeze Center and Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. His innovative product designs include high-heels with heels that do not get stuck in the pavement, Intelligent Fixed-Quantity Functional Spice Jars , apps that control media devices, and countless other works. These works have gained recognition and popularity across the world. Apart from best seller Be True to Your Work, and Your Work Will Be True to You, which is also well-received overseas, Chen stated that he will continue to write books. Since he cannot give talks every day, he can record the thoughts behind his design through writing.
「知道自己要什麼最重要」全世界優秀的人不一定是念名校，老師非常堅定且清楚自己要走的路，提到由於父親經營眼鏡行，自幼跟著爸爸一起擺設櫥窗，引發對設計濃厚興趣，所以很早就立志要踏上設計之路。年輕的陳彥廷老師已經為台灣許多知名企業創意設計，執行過微風廣場、松山菸廠等大型設計企畫案。更有充滿創意的產品設計，如不會卡跟水溝蓋的高跟鞋，智慧定量機能調味罐，製作APP來控制影音等多項令人讚嘆的文創生活創作，都正在設計界發光。除了『設計獎道理』這本已熱銷授權到海外的書籍，未來老師還要持續出書，因為老師說：『他不可能天天演講，唯有透過文字把自己的創作思考，留下紀錄。』

Participants of oversea competitions are one in a million. Competitions that are harsh challenges growth and breakthrough. The POSAMO Design Team saw many prizes from different competitions in the office of Chen Yen Ting, including graphic design, motion graphics, product design, exhibition design, web design, and digital design. Chen believes the fastest way of gaining attention in the design world is through competitions. Chen also believes that only by constructing opportunities of showing one’s work and pursuing dreams with courage can those on the path of design continue the have strength for the ongoing journey. Chen Yen Ting has a calling for education and hopes to help more talented students achieve international recognition with his own experiences.
在國外參賽是萬中選一，更嚴苛競爭的比賽，認為更有挑戰性更能成長。POSAMO十邑設計在彥廷老師的辦公室內看見了各項參加競賽的獎座，創作範疇非常廣泛，橫跨平面、產品、動畫、策展、網頁、數位設計等領域。他認為走設計這條路要讓外界看見，最快的途徑是參賽，給自己一個舞台，大膽勇敢地去實踐夢想，這條創作之路才能有力量持續走下去。而對於教學，對於彥廷老師是一種使命感，希望藉由自身經驗，要幫助更多有才華的學子，一起被全世界看見。

Chen combines the works of students with other industries through cultural and creative products, enabling the works to enter the daily lives of the public through mass production. This method may seem surreal, but is, in fact, a way of achieving win-win situations. As a recipient of countless international prizes and awards, containing so much energy at such a young age, Chen Yen Ting made the decision to remain in Taiwan to contribute to the society of Taiwan. It is a blessing that such a talented artist is willing to stay in Taiwan’s art community; this remarkable figure certainly deserves our applause and respect.
因此將學生作品透過文創形式與異業結合，量產走入群眾，這看似超實際論，卻是另一種平衡的雙贏。陳彥廷老師，如此年輕累積豐富能量，國際得獎百座後，仍根留台灣堅持貢獻心力，人才沒有外流是藝文界的福氣，令人尊敬值得擊掌！
