Having been involved with sculptures for 4 decades, Cynthia Sah and her husband Nicolas Bertoux have jointly created countless artworks. The well-known artist couple has garnered an exceptional reputation in the art circle. Sah believes that each creation is “like meeting a new friend”, and she does not mind working in her dusty workshop as she immerses herself in the world of sculpting, albeit a painstaking process, she finds great pleasure and reward in doing it. When her thoughts and ideas are materialized through the flawless lines, it is as if she has captured epiphany from the heavens.
從事雕刻創作40年，薩璨如老師與夫婿尼古拉•貝杜共同創作了許多作品，成為藝術界佳偶的一大美事，兩人的作品在全球都獲得了非常高的評價。薩老師認為每一次創作「都像是剛認識一位新朋友」，在滿是粉塵的工作室中，她一點也不辛苦，沈浸在細雕慢琢的樂趣中，透過思維意念形塑出完美線條，彷彿綻放出上帝的靈光。

Sah’s large-scale award-winning creations and public artworks are widely collected across the globe, including the three major public museums in Taiwan, National Highway No. 5, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, Shanghai Xintiandi, Macau Tower, Delta of Po River Polesine, Italy, Farum International Sculpture Park in Denmark, and Trump Tower in New York.
薩老師的大型創作在全世界廣獲收藏，如台灣三大公立美術館、北宜高速公路、香港置地文華東方酒店、上海新天地、澳門旅遊塔、義大利威尼斯波利辛奈海岸、丹麥國家雕刻公園、紐約川普大樓等地，都有其委託創作或得獎獲藏的公共藝術。

Sah has taken up residence in Seravezza, Tuscany near the premier marble extraction region known as Carrara, which is known for marble quarries used in Renaissance masterpieces such as Michelangelo's David and Pieta.
薩老師長年居住在托斯卡尼的塞拉維察，鄰近以盛產優質大理石舉世聞名的卡拉拉山，文藝復興以來的許多重要雕刻藝術品的石材，如：米開朗基羅的《大衛像》、《聖殤》等皆源於此地。

She expresses internal philosophical thoughts and insights through art, using selected white marble from the Apuan Alps to create these works, which transmit intimate murmurs between artist and viewer, communicating to the audience Sah’s gracious understanding of life.
老師特別獨鍾以阿普安阿爾卑斯山區礦脈所產的純白卡拉拉大理石為其主要創作素材，在這樣豐富的自然資源創作國度裡，讓她能更貼近石材原始的生命之源，也連結她對自我生命內在最私密的觸動，透過具象的藝術，溫柔婉約地道出一詩又一篇的人生體悟。
